Основой агрегата является центральная рама, она представляет собой конструкцию из труб и кронштейнов к которым крепятся рабочие органы, также к раме присоединяются крылья и сница, которая предназначена для соединения агрегата с трактором, и шасси, которое обеспечивает транспортировку агрегата.
Рабочими органами агрегата являются шесть рядов стрельчатых лап, выравнивающая доска и прикатывающий каток. Стрельчатые лапы выполняют рыхление почвы на точно установленную глубину благодаря механизму регулирования в виде двух талрепов. Лапы установлены таким образом, что они работают горизонтально, и не затрагивают нижний слой, сохраняя при этом влагу в почве под семенным ложем.
Для лучшего формирования корневой системы растения подготавливается идеальное семенное ложе с комками земли сверху, мелкой фракцией снизу и хорошо уплотненным грунтом. Большие комки , которые остаются после обработки стрельчатыми лапами, измельчаются выравнивающей доской и катком. Плоское размещения лемехов увеличивает силу вхождения орудия в почву, обеспечивает наибольшее давление на катки - измельчители. Благодаря этому, процесс выравнивания и крошения поверхности почвы происходит наилучшим образом.
